ISO compliance

ISO-aligned manufacturing systems. Certification is in process.

AIC operates under ISO-aligned quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems. AIC holds no ISO certificate at this time.

Current status

Stated plainly, so no customer has to read between the lines.

Advance International Chemicals runs its manufacturing on systems built to the ISO clause structure for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. That is alignment, not certification. The external certification process is under way.

Until certificates are issued, AIC makes no ISO certification claim on this site, in tenders, on labels, or in customer correspondence.

Systems in scope

Three management systems, each aligned to its standard.

Each system below describes how the plant is operated today. None of them is a certificate AIC holds.

Certification in process

ISO 9001 — Quality Management System

Vendor approval, incoming inspection, in-process checks, batch release testing, and the batch records behind every Certificate of Analysis.

Certification in process

ISO 14001 — Environmental Management

Waste handling, effluent treatment, emission control, and the process discipline that governs solvent use on the production floor.

Certification in process

ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety

Safe handling procedures, hazard communication, protective equipment, and operator training across mixing, milling, and filling.

Alignment versus certification

The difference, spelled out.

What ISO-aligned means here

  • Procedures are written, followed, and recorded against the ISO clause structure
  • Internal audits and corrective actions run on a defined cycle
  • Batch, test, and training records are retained and retrievable
  • The gap work needed for external audit is under way

What it does not mean

  • AIC is not ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 certified
  • No ISO certificate number can be quoted for AIC
  • No ISO registration mark may be used on AIC documents or packaging
  • Customers requiring a certified supplier should ask AIC for the current position rather than rely on this page

The one certified programme AIC holds today is ZDHC MRSL Version 3.1 Level 1 conformance, covering 16 certified OPP SK grades plus Advance Adhesive-TEX, Manson GL 02 Black, Manson UI RED 06 FX, OPP AS HARDENER and AIC Retarder.
