Quality & compliance

Setting industry standards for quality and compliance.

In today's global marketplace, regulatory compliance isn't optional — it's essential. AIC has invested in international certification work and rigorous quality standards that help customers compete in export markets.

Quality management system

Control at every step, from incoming drum to released batch.

Material, process, and record keeping are managed as one system, so a batch can be traced back to the vendor lot it was made from.

Raw material control

  • Approved vendor list
  • Incoming material inspection
  • Supplier quality audits
  • Traceability systems

Production quality control

  • Batch testing before release
  • Statistical process control
  • In-process quality checks
  • Final product testing

Testing parameters

  • Viscosity
  • Colour (spectrophotometer measurement)
  • Adhesion
  • Drying and curing time
  • Chemical resistance
  • Print quality

Documentation

  • Batch manufacturing records
  • Quality control test results
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA)
  • Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
  • Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Regulatory compliance

Safety, product, and environmental requirements handled together.

Chemical safety

  • MSDS/SDS for all products
  • Hazardous material labelling
  • GHS-aligned hazard communication
  • Safe handling guidelines

Product safety

  • Heavy metal-free formulations
  • Phthalate-free options
  • Lead-free pigments
  • Azo-free colourants

Environmental compliance

  • Low-VOC formulations
  • Water-based alternatives
  • Waste management protocols
  • Emission controls

Product-specific values are stated on the Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet for each grade. AIC does not publish comparative environmental performance figures that have not been independently verified.

International standards

Our products are formulated to meet:

FrameworkScope
RoHSRestriction of Hazardous Substances
REACHEuropean chemical regulation
FDAFood packaging compliance, indirect contact
CPSIAConsumer Product Safety Improvement Act
EN 71European toy safety standards, where applicable

These are formulation targets, not certificates. AIC states that products are formulated to meet these frameworks and supports customers with the product data needed for their own conformity assessments.

Laboratory capabilities

What we test in-house, and what goes to an accredited laboratory.

In-house testing

  • Colour measurement and matching
  • Viscosity testing
  • Adhesion testing
  • Cure speed evaluation
  • Basic chemical resistance

Third-party testing

  • ZDHC conformance
  • Migration testing
  • Heavy metal analysis
  • Comprehensive chemical analysis
  • Accelerated aging tests

Customer quality assurance

What you receive with an AIC order.

Every batch ships with its own quality record. Compliance documentation beyond the standard pack is provided on request, matched to the application and market the product is going into.

TDS previews are public. Full Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets are shared after registration and AIC review, so the current revision reaches the customer directly.

Improvement & transparency

The system is reviewed, and the answers are on the record.

Continuous improvement

  • Regular internal audits
  • Customer feedback systems
  • Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Employee training programmes
  • Technology upgrades
  • Process optimisation

Supply chain transparency

  • Raw material sources
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Testing procedures
  • Compliance status
  • Quality metrics

Certification status

Where AIC actually stands today.

AIC operates ISO-aligned manufacturing systems covering quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. AIC does not hold an ISO certificate: certification is in process.

The one certified programme AIC holds is ZDHC MRSL Version 3.1 Level 1 conformance, covering 16 certified OPP SK grades plus Advance Adhesive-TEX, Manson GL 02 Black, Manson UI RED 06 FX, OPP AS HARDENER and AIC Retarder. Grades outside that list are not certified, and AIC makes no ZDHC claim for them.
