Business model

Where AIC can take a partner's products.

A home market it manufactures in, a regional platform it sells from, and a trading division for everywhere else.

Coverage

Three territories, and what each one means for a partner.

Pakistan

The home market. AIC manufactures here, imports here, and holds stock here, and the technical sales team covers it from five locations.

A partner reaches the market through a company that is already established in it, with the plant, the warehouse and the field engineers in place.

UAE and the GCC

The regional platform, used to reach customers across the Gulf.

A principal supplying the Gulf can work through one regional arrangement rather than appointing separately in each market.

Africa and other markets

Served through the trading division rather than from stock.

Enquiries from outside the two markets above are handled as trading business, and are welcome on that footing.

Why this matters

A market you are already in is different from one you are entering.

In Pakistan, AIC is not appointing itself to something new. It manufactures here, imports here, holds stock here, and its technical sales engineers already call on the industries that would buy a partner's product. A range added to that structure reaches customers through people who are visiting them anyway.

The Gulf is served as a regional platform, so a principal supplying several GCC markets can work through one arrangement. Africa and other markets are handled by the trading division as trading business rather than from local stock, and enquiries are welcome on that basis.
