Product detail
High-sparkle aluminium silver paste with larger, narrowly distributed particles giving a flat, regular surface and good acid resistance.

Public specifications
Specifications are published from the product Technical Data Sheet. Performance depends on the substrate, its surface condition, environmental conditions, and equipment settings — test under actual production conditions before full-scale use. The complete TDS is shared after registration and AIC review.
Questions & answers
Aluminium pigment pastes in two particle grades. The Fine 9 µm grade is supplied at 65% non-volatile content in 200# solvent, with active aluminium of not less than 99% and iron of not more than 0.2%.
Plastic paints, electrical appliance coatings, automobile and motorcycle paints, bicycle paints, building coatings and printing inks.
A bright metallic finish with high coverage. The fine 9 µm grade gives a smooth, even metallic appearance suited to finishes examined close up; the 65 µm grade uses larger particles to give a pronounced sparkle effect where that is the design intent.
Aluminium flakes orient in the film, and the finish depends on that orientation — the same paste gives a different appearance at different film thicknesses, application methods and drying rates, so a spray panel will not predict a screen-printed result. Coarse grades will not pass a fine mesh. Aluminium reacts with water to release hydrogen, so waterborne use requires a stabilised system and must be confirmed with AIC before formulating. For a softer pearl lustre rather than a metallic finish, use AIC 100.
